The Continental was the winner of the Auto Express All Season Tyre Test 2020. We think that’s something worth paying attention to. As a top motoring magazine, Auto Express has the resources and expertise to properly compare seven leading rivals.
Using expert drivers and a battery of performance tests, they found that the Continental outperformed all of the other brands on snow braking, snow handling, wet handling and rolling resistance (fuel economy). Some competitors did better in other categories. In dry braking, for example, the Continental managed fifth out of seven. But all season tests are about overall performance, and with solid results in other categories — such as wet braking and wet circle — the Continental was able to take top spot.
